Finesse-first Pinot Noir from old vines — light in body, high in precision, easy to underestimate.

Nose: Delicate red fruit, rose petal, a hint of earth and fine spice. Nothing over-extracted or forced.
Palate: Light to medium body, silky texture, fine-grained tannin. Good freshness and vivacity on the mid-palate. The old vines bring concentration without weight — this is Burgundy at its most precise and unshowy.
Finish: Clean and dry, with a fine, lingering mineral persistence.
Serve: 14–16°C. Drinks well young, benefits from slight air.

Savigny-lès-Beaune sits in an amphitheater-shaped valley between the Montagne de Corton and the hills above Beaune. The Vieilles Vignes parcel sits on gravelly limestone soils on south-facing slopes.

Vines: Pinot Noir, 40-to-60-year-old vines on gravelly limestone soils, south-facing. Five generations of family farming since 1914. Certified organic since 2009.
Soils: Gravelly limestone — lighter soils that give the wine its delicacy and fine tannin structure.Farming: Certified organic. Hand harvested, hand sorted on the vine.
Cellar: De-stemmed, cold maceration for a few days, natural fermentation with native yeasts. Daily gentle work by foot. Aged 18 months in old Burgundy barrels.
Additions: Minimal sulphur. No fining, no filtration.
