How it tastes
In the glass
Nebbiolo at its most playful: whole bunch, all steel, made to drink young and a little cool.
Profile
Nose
Raspberry, redcurrant and violet, with a light herbal note from the stems.
Palate
Light to medium body, juicy and bright. The tannin is fine and quick, the fruit crunchy rather than sweet.
Finish
Fresh and short-to-medium, with a little bite of pepper.
“Nebbiolo for a Tuesday night, not for the cellar.”

Bosco Pierangelo
Family Barolo from Boiolo, in La Morra: old vines, long macerations, no filtering.
The Bosco family grew grapes in Boiolo, La Morra, for decades before Pierangelo opened the winery in 2000. His children Niccolò and Gaia joined in 2014, beginning a small production under the family name. They still bottle only part of what they grow, selecting the fruit they want for themselves. Their Nebbiolo takes two forms: long-macerated Barolo from old vines, and a whole-bunch Langhe Nebbiolo made entirely in steel.
“In 2014, we bottled our first 500 bottles of Barolo.”
- Style
- Nebbiolo in two registers: structured Barolo and fresh, whole-bunch Langhe Nebbiolo.
- Vineyard
- Clay with rock and sand in Boiolo. The Barolo comes from old vines.
- Farming
- No herbicides or pesticides. Not certified.
- Winemaking
- Spontaneous fermentation. Long maceration and large French oak for Barolo; whole bunches and steel for Langhe Nebbiolo. No filtration.
- Signature
- Red fruit, floral perfume and a clear tannic grip.

Good to know
Questions we get a lot
Is this a natural wine?
All our wines come from small growers who farm organically or biodynamically and keep intervention in the cellar to a minimum: native yeasts, little or no added sulphites. Every producer has their own approach; the details are in “From the vineyard to the bottle” above.
Why is it a bit cloudy, or is there sediment?
Many of our wines are bottled unfiltered. A light haze or some sediment is natural and harmless: stand the bottle upright for a few hours and pour gently.
How long does it keep once open?
It depends on the wine (see “Once open” above). As a rule: cork back in and keep it in the fridge, reds included.
When will my order arrive?
We ship Tuesday to Saturday, usually right away. In Germany delivery takes 2–3 working days; rates for every country are on our shipping page.
Can I pick up in Berlin?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and collect your order at our shop in Berlin.
