Ombra is the base cuveè of Nicola Gatta. It's a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wine is fermented in tonneaux and is then bottled to make the second fermentation, where it stays on the lees for 30 moons. It has rich and aromatic aromas of yellow fruit and pastry, still very fresh an vibrant, with great identity.
