How It Tastes

Structured and elegant Nebbiolo with red fruit, earthy complexity, and mineral tension.

Nose: Red cherry, rose petal, earthy undertones, subtle spice.
Palate: Layered red fruit with firm yet refined tannins. The wine shows both power and finesse, with mineral tension from calcareous marl and sandy components. Lively acidity provides lift and structure.
Finish: Long and persistent, reflecting traditional ageing and site-driven purity.
Serve: Lightly chilled, 16–18°C.

A classic, understated Barolo from the Paiagallo hill shaped by long maceration and large oak.

TERROIR & WINEMAKING

Nebbiolo from the Paiagallo hill above the town of Barolo in Piemonte, grown on calcareous marl and clay with sandy components.

Vines: 100% Nebbiolo from a small single-vineyard parcel.
Soils: Calcareous marl and clay with sand, contributing finesse and mineral tension.
Farming: Artisan viticulture with hand-harvesting.
Cellar: Long maceration with indigenous yeasts, followed by traditional ageing in a combination of cement and large Slavonian oak barrels.
Additions: No fining or filtration.
