Collection: Geoffrey Delouvin

Geoffrey Delouvin is the 10th generation vigneron of Famille Delouvin.  The 7 hectares vineyard is exclusively planted on the Cru de Vandières, in the heart of the Marne Valley. The parcels of the Domaine, mostly old vines, are nestled on the Cote with South / South-East exposure, over a mosaic of different soils: argilo-limestone, flush chalk, sands, clays. The grape variety is marked by the dominance of Meunier, to which they dedicate passion and devotion. In the vineyard, pragmatism is essential. Each plot is unique, it is very important to be able to count on the meaning of observation and experience passed on by 11 generations of winegrowers to understand them. Thus, the transmission of knowledge is made from father to son, their approach is simple: respect for the terroir and soils, following sustainable process. In the vineyard they don't use any herbicide, no deep charutage, and look for great biodiversity. No insecticide. No anti-rot. No chemical fertilizer are used but composted manure, to promote the microbiological life of the soil. Preservation of the Old Vines is made by mass selection of previous generations. The approach is non-interventionist: malolactic fermentation is neither sought nor blocked, and the doses of sulfur (SO2) are less than 35mg/l. The subtlety and depth of the Non Millésimés are based on a Soléra method made up of each harvest from 1992 to our days, guaranteeing consistent quality. Disgorging by hand, homemade liqueur for the Bruts, and identical dosage to the wine for Natures.
