How It Tastes

Nuanced and gracefully aged blend with dark cherry, plum, and evolved savory complexity.

Nose: Dark cherry and plum fruit, layers of leather, earth, hints of cedar, subtle spice. 
Palate: Welcoming acidity and rounded tannins that have softened with age create a balanced interplay between savory detail and fruit presence. A mineral thread runs through the profile. 
Finish: Persistent, revealing both rustic charm and refined depth shaped by extended maturation. 
Serve: Lightly chilled, 16–18°C.

A flagship blend aged several years in large oak and held in bottle before release.
TERROIR & WINEMAKING

An equal blend of Barbera and Bonarda (Croatina) from the Colli Piacentini in Emilia-Romagna, grown on silty clay-inflected soils.

Vines: Barbera and Bonarda from organically farmed parcels with spontaneous cover crop. 
Soils: Silty clay, contributing structure and depth. 
Farming: Organic viticulture with minimal intervention. 
Cellar: Hand-harvested grapes destemmed and fermented with native yeasts in concrete and stainless steel, followed by long maceration (approximately 40–45 days). Matured for several years in large Slavonian oak botti, then held in bottle for additional ageing before release.
Additions: Unfiltered, no added sulphites.
