Valdisole - Helios 2015

Helios is an outstanding Nebbiolo from Valdisole winery. It comes from the oldest Nebbiolo vineyard with the most sun exposure. The age of the vines is between 50 and 70 years old. The wine ferments in tonneaux and is then aged in used barriques fro 24 months. We kept it some extra time in the cellar and is now at its peak time. It's a supple, intense and delicious wine, very balanced between structure and freshness, super soft tannins, a real gem.
